To expand our Global Sales Team based in Vienna or Wiener Neustadt/Austria, we are looking for a proactive, highly self-motivated, and internationally traveling individual with diplomatic skills and technical acumen for the position of Regional Sales Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsibility for international sales and business development activities
- Building and maintaining a reliable network of agents, distributors, and strategic partnerships – particularly for further market expansion outside Europe
- Negotiating at the C-level as well as with government agencies and defense partners
- Responsibility for the sustainable maintenance and expansion of existing key accounts on an international level
- Managing the entire sales cycle from acquisition to contract conclusion – focusing on complex international tenders and government contracts
- Coordinating and leading all tender-related activities together with the Customer Program Manager, who takes over operational customer support after contract conclusion
- Achieving and fulfilling annual sales goals and targets in line with expected revenue objectives
- Executing and being responsible for a range of marketing tasks, such as competitive and regional analyses
- Close collaboration with local lawyers, authorities, and compliance offices in the context of international contract and tender processes
Requirements
- At least five years of experience and proven sales success in international companies
- Experience with international defense procurement processes and export control-related regulations
- Comprehensive knowledge of working in the government and/or defense sector
- Ideally, a candidate with a military background and successful integration into the private sector
- Confident demeanor in a highly sensitive, international, and multicultural environment
- Deep technical understanding in the field of UAV/aviation, particularly the ability to competently represent the CAMCOPTER® S-100 and S-300 at customer and tender levels
- Multilingualism: fluent in spoken and written English, German is highly desirable
- Spanish skills are a significant advantage for building sustainable relationships in relevant markets
- Knowledge of additional languages is a further nice-to-have criterion
- Solid technical understanding of avionics and aviation-related contexts is strongly preferred
- Awareness and sensitivity to foreign cultures and mentalities
- High willingness to travel internationally (up to 50%) on long-haul routes
- Ability to build long-term strategic relationships on an international level
