At Schiebel, we are increasing our global operational footprint and operations, therefore we are looking for a highly motivated technician who is willing to travel for occasional deployments. Our highly qualified training team will ensure you are fully trained before deployment (training will take place in Austria for a duration of typically two months). Once you have completed your internal qualification training you will become a certified Field Maintenance Technician at Schiebel on contracting basis. As part of our operations and maintenance team, your primary responsibility is the maintenance of the CAMCOPTER® S-100 UAS.
Your Duties
- Perform all related aircraft and ground station maintenance work, which includes servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and detailed documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications
- Use and apply internal standards and procedures when performing maintenance or troubleshooting aircraft or systems discrepancies
- Perform logistical tasks such as inventory checks and material order
- Maintain equipment and tools in a safe and serviceable condition
- Assist in launching, recovering, and ground handling of aircraft
- Report safety and aircraft discrepancies, in accordance with the approved internal procedures
What you bring
- Must be an Austrian or EU citizen or have the unrestricted right to work in the EU/ Schengen Area e.g. work visa
- Strong technical skills and knowledge preferably from previous experience in aviation maintenance
- Very good communication skills in German and English, both verbally and written
- Proactive attitude and independent way of working
- Willingness to travel
