We are working flat out to expand our global presence and activities. That's why we are looking for a motivated helicopter technician who is also willing to travel for occasional missions. Our highly qualified training team will ensure that you are fully trained prior to your assignment (training takes place in Austria and usually lasts two months). Once you have completed your internal qualification training, you will join Schiebel as a certified Base Maintenance Technician. As part of our operations and maintenance team, your main task will be to maintain the CAMCOPTER® S-100 UAS.

Your Mission

  • Perform all aircraft and ground station maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair and detailed documentation in accordance with company procedures and specifications
  • Apply and implement internal standards and procedures when performing maintenance or troubleshooting discrepancies between aircraft and systems
  • Pre- and post-flight maintenance
  • Report safety and aircraft discrepancies in accordance with approved internal procedures

What you bring

  • Austrian or EU citizenship or in possession of the unrestricted right to work in the EU/Schengen area
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge, preferably based on previous experience in aviation maintenance
  • Very good communication skills in German and English, both verbal and written
  • Proactive attitude and independent way of working
  • Willingness to travel

The annual gross salary is based on the applicable collective agreement for employees in the metal industry, with a willingness to overpay depending on experience and qualifications.
