For our documentation team in Wiener Neustadt, we are looking for a new team member to join as soon as possible, bringing their experience and expertise to shape the technical documentation of our developments in the field of unmanned aviation at the highest level.
The position can be offered in full-time (38.5 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week).
Your Responsibilities
As a Technical Editor, you will develop and revise technical manuals such as operating and maintenance manuals for the CAMCOPTER® S-100 and S-300 as well as mine detection devices. While creating the documentation, you will work closely with colleagues from development, production, maintenance, and quality management to produce documents for print or interactive electronic technical publication (IETP).
- You create and update technical manuals such as maintenance manuals, spare parts catalogs, and work instructions
- Together with the Technical Illustrator, you create diagrams, graphics, and other illustrations that help better understand our product or workflows
- You ensure compliance with relevant standards and company policies
- You review and correct existing content
- You gather feedback from our customers and departments to improve the technical documentation
- You also support your colleagues in the Technical Documentation team
Our Requirements
- You have completed education in a technical field (HTL/FH/University)
- Initial professional experience is required
- Excellent language skills in German and English are a must
- You understand complex technical concepts and can prepare them for the target audience
- Experience with documentation software such as the HiCO ILS Suite or another content management system is an advantage
- Knowledge of the standards ASD S1000D and STE-100 is an advantage
- You have good MS Office skills
- Due to security policy requirements, we must require an Austrian or EU citizenship

The annual gross salary is based on the applicable collective agreement for employees in the metal industry and is set at a minimum annual gross salary of 40,000 euros for full-time employment. There is a willingness to pay more depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
