How We Work
With a flexible setup, clear vision, and genuine engineering spirit. You are part of the new generation software team. Whether it's Windows-based software interacting with embedded devices or tests directly on the hardware: you are in the middle of it, not just at the interface. You test complex systems holistically, test software and hardware in combination, create structured test specifications, and execute them systematically. You document your results comprehensibly in meaningful test reports, thereby significantly contributing to product quality. In doing so, you work closely with our embedded and software developers as well as the test teams.
What Awaits You Specifically
- UAV-Impact: You ensure the functionality and quality of the software for the CAMCOPTER® S-100 and future helicopter generations.
- System-Understanding: You test complex overall systems consisting of PC-based software and embedded devices and develop a deep understanding of their interaction.
- Hardware-Hands-on: You test directly on real hardware, analyze interfaces and system behavior, and accompany issues from observation to resolution.
- Test-Spec Engineering: You create and maintain structured test specifications, derive test cases from requirements, and execute them systematically.
- Quality-Reporting: You document test results clearly and comprehensibly in meaningful test reports, making quality measurable and assessable.
- Teamspirit: Work in a motivated team with a genuine passion for technology.
What You Bring
- You have an active interest in working with complex systems in an aerospace environment.
- You have practical experience in software and system testing, ideally in the interaction of PC-based software, embedded devices, and hardware.
- You are comfortable working with interfaces such as USB, Ethernet, CAN, or serial communication.
- Experience with C, C++, or Python is an advantage.
- Experience in testing safety-critical systems or an ISTQB certification is an advantage.
- You communicate proactively and enjoy working in a team.

The annual gross salary is based on the applicable collective agreement for the metal industry for employees and provides for a minimum salary of EUR 47,810.12. There is a willingness to pay more depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
