Your Responsibilities

  • In this position, you are responsible for the integration of new components and payloads (camera systems, radar, electronic reconnaissance systems, radio systems, etc.) into the Schiebel CAMCOPTER® S-100 and S-300.
  • You conduct feasibility analyses regarding the integrability of individual components.
  • Prototype construction is also part of your tasks.
  • You define the interfaces (mechanical, electrical, software) required for the integration of payloads.
  • Additionally, you develop mechanical and electronic components (mounts, fixtures, cable harnesses, circuit boards, etc.) and also manufacture them.
  • Commissioning these prototypes is also part of your responsibilities.
  • You also take on the planning, preparation, execution, and documentation of functional tests.
  • You optimize existing integrations (mechanical, electrical).
  • Furthermore, you assist with the technical documentation of your prototypes.

Our Requirements

  • You have completed a technical education (HTL, FH, or university) in the fields of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, or similar.
  • A hands-on mentality and manual skills are a prerequisite.
  • Practical experience in the development of mechatronic systems is essential.
  • You also have knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor is an advantage).
  • Proficiency in common office software packages (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is also required.
  • You have good to very good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • You also have a strong interest and enjoyment in working with complex systems (unmanned helicopters).
  • Teamwork and an independent working style complete your profile.
  • You are willing to undertake international business trips (max. 10% of your working time).

The annual gross salary is based on the applicable collective agreement for employees in the metal industry. There is a willingness to pay above this amount depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
