High Tech Company and Global Market Leader

The Schiebel Group is a globally active high-tech company and market leader in the field of unmanned helicopters (CAMCOPTER® S-100) and mine detection devices. With us, it's not just about technology - it's about visions that take off!

In this - 1-year limited - position, you will be specifically introduced to the tasks of a Customer Program Manager (CPM). Initially, you will support experienced CPMs in handling complex international customer projects in the high-tech environment. The goal of the position is for you to independently take on the management (Key Account Management) of defined customers or sub-projects after an intensive training phase.

We are looking for a technically skilled individual with high performance readiness, who seeks responsibility and actively shapes customer relationships, projects, and processes, starting June 1, 2026. Your workplace can be either in Vienna 5 or Wiener Neustadt.

Your Tasks

  • Project Management Support: Supporting CPMs in the seamless execution of customer orders and ensuring compliance with established processes.
  • Taking on Project Responsibility: After successful training, you will lead selected customer projects or sub-areas and act as the primary contact (Key Account Manager) for smaller customers.
  • Interface Management: Acting as the central hub between the customer and internal departments (technical, production, quality management) as well as the Regional Sales Director.
  • Project Controlling & Reporting: Monitoring project milestones, costs, and deadlines. You will create status reports ("Contract Reporting") and maintain project data in the management system.
  • Contract Management: Assisting in the preparation and execution of contracts as well as participating in customer acceptances (Factory and Site Acceptance Tests) domestically and abroad.

What You Bring

Education: Completed technical education (HTL) or studies (FH/Uni) with a technical focus: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.

Technical Expertise: Technical understanding (mechanics, electronics, software) is required to comprehend complex system interrelations.

Knowledge in Project Management is definitely an advantage, but not a must.

Work Style:

  • Analytical thinking and structured approach.
  • High resilience and professional demeanor even under pressure.
  • Proactive "hands-on" mentality and willingness to deeply engage with technical matters.
  • Languages & IT: Fluent German and English in spoken and written form, as well as proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel worldwide for business trips.

What We Offer

  • Direct entry into professional project management.
  • A challenging role where you will be both challenged and supported.
  • Collaboration with an experienced team and direct mentorship.
  • Development opportunities: We are looking for career starters with an above-average willingness to delve into project management, with the option of being retained after the trainee program.
  • Employee benefits such as sports offers, meal subsidies, fresh fruit, and employee events.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home.

The annual gross salary is based on the applicable collective agreement for employees in the metal industry. There is a willingness to pay above this amount depending on your qualifications and professional experience.

If you enjoy high-tech projects and are looking for a challenge in an innovative environment, we look forward to your application.
