We are consistently working to expand our global IT infrastructure and security systems, because a stable and powerful IT infrastructure is the key to our company's success. We are therefore looking for an experienced and committed IT support professional who can also assist us with the implementation of the NIS Act and who is enthusiastic about developing into the exciting role of Information Security Officer. As we have offices in both Vienna 5 and Wiener Neustadt, you will be required to work regularly at both locations.

When the printer breaks down, the Wi-Fi acts up or passwords suddenly disappear – that's when IT support comes into play. As the first point of contact for all IT issues, you ensure that everyday business runs smoothly, systems are kept up and running and downtime is minimised. This is the only way we can guarantee that we can drive our innovations forward.
What tasks await you at our company
- First and second level support (remote and on-site)
- Installation and integration of new systems, including encryption
- IT training for new employees during onboarding
- Administration of server and client environments
- Taking on the role of information security officer & legal responsibility:
- Responsible for compliance with the NIS-2-Directive
- Function as security information officer, including cooperation with authorities and internal departments
- Support with audits, compliance checks and certifications
- Risk management with a security mindset:
- Conducting risk analyses and security assessments
- Developing and implementing security guidelines, processes and measures
- Monitoring, analysing and reporting security-related incidents
- Planning awareness training for all employees and coordinating security measures throughout the company
What you bring
- Several years of professional experience in IT support
- Interest and enjoyment in working on all issues related to the Austrian NIS Act, which offers you the opportunity to develop into an information security officer
- Enjoyment of continuous further training in your field
- Very good German and English skills and enjoyment of proactive communication
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft environment
- Knowledge of common security standards is an advantage
- Independent and responsible work
- Willingness to work in Wiener Neustadt as well as in Vienna 5
The gross annual salary is based on the collective agreement for the metal industry. We are willing to pay above the standard rate depending on your qualifications and experience. Several years of professional experience in IT support
