Your Mission
Facility Management
As a Technical Facility Manager, you ensure that everything runs smoothly at our two locations in Vienna and Wiener Neustadt, from the office to production:
- Maintenance, upkeep, and optimization of buildings, facilities, and technical infrastructure
- Organization of maintenance, cleaning, security, energy supply, etc.
- Management of service providers (e.g., building technology, security, cleaning)
- Monitoring of technical infrastructure, operator obligations, and maintenance/upkeep
- Participation in the budgeting process – always keeping costs and risks in view
- Support in new construction, renovation, or modernization projects
Health Safety and Environment Management
- Development, monitoring, and continuous improvement of occupational, health, and environmental protection
- Responsibility for all topics related to the environment and chemicals according to EU and REACH regulations
- Reporting and processing of key performance indicators, reporting, and interface communication, including to company management
- You are someone who not only coordinates but also thinks in terms of solutions.
- You manage external service providers on an equal footing, drive energy and sustainability initiatives, and turn compliance into lived responsibility.
How You Are Best Qualified for This Challenge
- Technical education (university degree, HTL): e.g., building technology, facility management, construction or electrical engineering, chemistry
- Several years of professional experience in technical maintenance
- Solid knowledge of operator obligations, fire protection requirements, construction, and building technology
- Familiarity with Austrian regulations and standards, including: Employee Protection Act (ASchG), Workplace Ordinance (AStV), Construction Coordination Act (BauKG), OIB Guidelines (especially OIB RL 2 Fire Protection), TRVB Guidelines (structural/technical/organizational)
- IT affinity: BMS/GLT, IoT sensors, MS 365
- Fluent German, good English
- Driver’s license B
Desirable but not mandatory:
- Certifications: e.g., fire protection officer/fire warden, safety representative, energy manager (energy audit competence), ISO-41001 or ISO-50001 experience
- Experience with funding programs (e.g., klimaaktiv, state subsidies) and PV/E-mobility infrastructure

The annual gross salary is based on the applicable collective agreement for employees in the metal industry, for example, with more than 5 years of relevant professional experience: starting at approximately € 3,042. There is a willingness to pay more depending on your qualifications and professional experience.
