With the CAMCOPTER® S-100 and S-300, the Schiebel Group is the undisputed world leader in remotely piloted helicopters. As part of the development we, SCHIEBEL AERONAVAL SAS, Toulon, are looking for an expert in on-board effectors. 
 
In this position, you will use your knowledge, experience and creativity primarily in the "Air-to-Ground" field. 

Your responsibilities

  • Defining the concept of using a remotely piloted helicopter, equipped with effectors, in an aero-terrestrial context
  • Choosing end-users according to the scenarios envisaged
  • Communication with effector manufacturers and end users
  • Contributing to effector integration
  • Taking part in effector trials
The facility of Schiebel Aéronaval SAS is in the Var region of France, although remote working is encouraged. Regular travel in France and abroad is to be expected.

Your profile

  • Proven experience in the field of on-board effectors on helicopters, preferably "Air-to-Ground", as an engineer, integrator, pilot or operator.
  • Ideally, you will already have worked in this field for a helicopter or missile manufacturer or a government body that develops or uses such equipment (ALAT, STAT, DGA, etc.).
  • You have good analytical and summarising skills, are able to make suggestions and enjoy working as part of a team
  • Ability to obtain confidential defence clearance
  • Given the company's international environment, you have a good level of English
