High Tech Company and Global Market Leader

The Schiebel Group is a globally active high-tech company and market leader in the field of unmanned helicopters (CAMCOPTER® S-100 and S-300) and mine detection devices. With us, it's not just about technology – it's about visions that take off!

Why You Can Reach the Next Level of Your Career with Us

Because with us, you don't just analyze data, but also complex interrelationships in UAV and rotor systems, thereby shaping the next generation of aeronautical innovations.

What You Can Achieve with Us

With us, you don't just design measurement systems, but create the basis for decisions that turn complex data into real insights – significantly driving the development of groundbreaking UAV and rotor systems.

Your Responsibilities at a Glance:

  • Development, integration, and commissioning of complex measurement systems for UAVs, including practical modifications, adaptations, and error analyses.
  • Technical support of the measurement systems during ground tests, flight trials, and test flights
  • Analysis, evaluation, and structured preparation of raw data generated during operation for further use in simulations and development processes
  • Derivation of improvement suggestions from the insights
  • Creation of technical reports, documentation, and presentations

What You Should Bring

  • Completed technical studies (e.g., aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, physics, or similar)
  • Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for practical development work directly on the system
  • Extensive experience in data acquisition and evaluation, ideally in the context of rotor systems, UAVs, or flight testing
  • Solid experience in the proper application, configuration, and implementation of measurement points (strain gauges, acceleration sensors, etc.)
  • Willingness to build, adapt, and support measurement systems in test operations
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., DIADem, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar)
  • Analytical, structured, and at the same time pragmatic working style
  • Teamwork and communication skills in an interdisciplinary environment
  • Very good German and good English skills

What Awaits You with Us

  • An environment where you can take responsibility, work on real prototypes, and experience your expertise directly in system use – from the first measurement idea to the detailed evaluation in flight tests.
  • A dynamic working environment in our office in Vienna 5 and in Wiener Neustadt
  • The possibility to occasionally work in a home office

If you feel that you are a good fit for us because you want to experience technology in real-world applications, we look forward to your application!
