To strengthen our electronics development team at our location in 1050 Vienna, we are looking for an experienced technician for the onboard wiring & integration of our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), who knows that a perfect wiring harness is the nervous system of an unmanned helicopter.

  • Routing: Planning and coordination of cable routing in the 3D model together with mechanical design
  • Integration: Practical installation and clean routing of the onboard wiring in CAMCOPTER® prototypes
  • Validation: Support of standard-compliant measurements and tests of electrical connections (e.g., EMC, CE)
  • Documentation: Contribution to the creation of technical documentation and maintenance of data in the ERP system
  • Technology & Standards: Analysis of new technological developments and standards with a view to their practical application in the cable system for your personal development

What You Bring

Professional Requirements

  • Education: Completed technical education (apprenticeship with Matura, HTL, FH, or equivalent; mechatronics, electronics, electrical engineering, mechanics)
  • System Understanding: Very good technical understanding of electrical and mechatronic systems
  • Work Style: Independent, structured approach with high personal responsibility, proven in several years of professional experience

Advantageous:

  • Cable Assembly: Professional experience in the construction and manufacturing of complex wiring harnesses
  • CAD Skills: Experience with CAD systems for defining, designing, and documenting cable systems
  • Avionics Environment: Knowledge in the development environment of avionics or aviation
  • Standards & Norms: Familiarity with relevant standards and their practical application in technical daily work

Personal Requirements

  • Commitment: Your enthusiasm for aviation technology is the foundation of your high motivation and clear identification with the technical task and the product.
  • Responsibility: Conscious, reliable work is indispensable when handling safety-critical systems.
  • Initiative: Your independent work style and thinking beyond your own task enable you to work in a highly self-determined manner. We rely on trust instead of micro-management.

  • Teamwork: For constructive collaboration in interdisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility: Openness to new requirements, technologies, and solutions gives you constantly changing perspectives.
