  • Design and selection of suitable connectors, contacts, cables, and connection components
  • Creation and maintenance of cable harness designs and the associated technical documentation in Altium Designer
  • Building, maintaining, and expanding proprietary component and connector libraries in Altium
  • Integration and technical evaluation of different connector systems considering the respective requirements
  • Creation and maintenance of bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing documentation
  • Close collaboration with the development, design, electronics, and manufacturing departments

What You Bring

Professional Requirements

  • Completed technical education in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a comparable field (HTL, FH, university)
  • Solid experience in cable harness design and the design of electrical connection systems
  • Very good knowledge of Altium Designer, especially in building and maintaining proprietary libraries
  • Experience with connectors, connector systems, and their integration into electrical assemblies
  • Understanding of electrical circuits, cable routing, and production-ready design
  • Structured, independent working style and enthusiasm for technical details
  • Good German and English skills

Must haves:

  • Practical experience with harness design or wiring harness design
  • Altium Designer, including proprietary libraries and component modeling
  • Know-how on connectors and connector systems
  • Additional advantage: Experience in aviation, automotive, special machinery, or other demanding technical systems

What We Offer

  • Variety: Exciting and diverse activities in the development of unmanned helicopters
  • Contribution: Active participation in the next generation of smart UAV electronics and onboard wiring
